The Cedars is situated in a small hamlet in the Devon village of Lustleigh. It is set in an acre of land and now offers accommodation for up to six people in a holiday bungalow; Little Cedars. Lustleigh village dates from the 11th century and is nestled in a wooded valley on the southern slopes of Dartmoor.
It is known as the prettiest village in Devon with its 12th century church surrounded by picturesque thatched cottages.
The 15th century pub offers a warm welcome with good food and beer. There is a delightful thatched tea-room, village shop and post office as well as a public orchard and play area.
It is a wonderful area for walking. Lustleigh Cleave is just a short distance on foot from the bungalow. It comprises of several miles of rivers and valleys the slopes of which rise to the higher moor. The area also offers opportunities for climbing, riding, golf, fishing and surfing beaches are within easy reach.
Little Cedars is south facing with excellent open views, a secluded private orchard garden and off road parking for two cars. It is well equipped and comfortable. Three double bedrooms, lounge/diner, kitchen with dish washer, family cooker, micro-wave and washing machine/tumble dryer. Bath/power shower. T.V, Video, DVD. Garden table and chairs and patio heater. Well behaved dogs and children welcome.
