The Cedars Location
The Cedars is located in a village called Lusteigh. Lustleigh is said to be the prettiest village in Devon and is nestled in a wooded valley on the southern slopes of Dartmoor. It is listed in the Doomsday book. The village church dates from the 11th century and there are numerous thatched cottages in the centre of the village and its surroundings that date from the 15th century. Directions to Lustleigh From the A38 Westbound. Just after the signs for the Exeter turn off (do not turn off into Exeter) the road splits into two. Follow signs to Plymouth turn off at Drumbridges round about. Follow signs to Bovey Tracey. As you approach Bovey there are two round abouts. The first has a garage and Cardew pottery on the left, take the second road off the round about and follow signs to Lustleigh and Moretonhampstead. After the second round about, Fire Station in front on the left carry on along this road for about 2 miles. Look out for the Lustleigh sign on the right and a pub sign, Lustleigh Cleave. There is a small thatched cottage on the corner of the bend on the left. Take this left turn and follow a bendy road into the village. If coming from the West take the turning off at Drumbridges as above. The Castle turrets of Trago Mills will be evident on your right prior to the left turn off to Bovey Tracey.
